Sugar Pulverizer

MAPL's pulverizer sugar handling system uses a bag tilting mechanism to load sugar into a hopper of a vertical screw conveyor. The sugar is pulverized and pneumatically conveyed to a cyclone separator and thereafter to the assigned mixer. Alternatively it can be stored in silo in large quantity. In either of the designs, the system is totally controlled by the PLC.

Inverter Syrup Sugar Solution

MAPL has developed a system to prepare continuous sugar syrup with its sugar handling system. Bag filter and screw conveyor are used to convey sugar into the silo. The PLC controlled sugar handling system very minutely discharges sugar and water in an accurate proportion continuously to the first stage electrically heated stirring tank. The overflow from the first stage goes to the second stage heated stirring tank and overflow from second stage goes to the third stage heated stirring tank. At the third stage tank the correct and continuous dosage of inverter is taking place. Thus at the third stage sugar syrup attains correct temperature and quality. The overflow from the third stage is taken into fourth stage water cooled coil tank. At this level we achieve correct quality and cooled sugar syrup. The sugar syrup is then pumped through a filter into tile overhead storage tank. The system is energy efficient as the power required is 50% of normal operation since tanks are insulated and incoming feed water is preheated.

Continuous Mixing Plant

Continuous Mixing is a process in which dough is mixed without interruption. Streams of dry and liquid ingredients are fed accurately and continuously into the mixer. The ingredients are wetted and pre-blended before entering the mixer. The dough is worked as it moves down the length of the cylinder. At the discharge of the mixer, fixed-size loaves of dough are cut continuously and moved to the downstream equipment arriving at the correct time in the correct size.

Pre-Creamer

All ingredients such as HVO, palmoline butter, lecithin, water chemicals, pulverized sugar, broken biscuit are charged in the pre-creamer and creaming is done by starting the high speed agitator, wiper and circulating pump. Pre creaming can be done in two minutes and transferred to either continuous mixer or batch mixer for dough preparation.
